Our Story
Velvet Brew was born from a simple belief: exceptional coffee deserves an exceptional setting. Founded in 2016 by barista duo Elena Mercer and James Holloway, our Brooklyn café has become the neighbourhood's heartbeat — a place where mornings begin, ideas bloom, and friendships deepen.
We source exclusively from small, sustainable farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Guatemala. Every roast is profiled in-house, and every cup is pulled with precision. It's obsessive, we know — and our regulars wouldn't have it any other way.

Espresso

Our micro-roaster runs every Tuesday and Friday. Beans reach your cup within 72 hours of their perfect roast — freshness you can taste.
